Olivia is a ceramics artist and teacher based in Liverpool, whose practice explores the freedom of movement within the material through both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. Her work emphasises the flow and balance of form, often showcasing an organic and spontaneous array of shapes developed from initial sketches to final pieces, enhanced by layered glazes.
Since graduating in 2020 from Central Saint Martins with a BA Hons in Ceramic Design, Olivia has been teaching art, design, and ceramics to students of all ages. Driven by a passion for sharing the beauty and therapeutic qualities of clay, she founded Clay Workshop in December 2024, which she now runs alongside her partner and co-director, James.
Clay Workshop is based in Liverpool’s City Centre, offering memberships, workshops, courses, and private events for all ages and abilities. The studio is built on the values of creativity, inclusivity, and community, providing a welcoming space for beginners and experienced makers alike to explore and develop their skills with clay.
